Rice Pilaf

A light mix of tender rice, pasta herbs and seasonings, our Rice-A-Roni Rice® Pilaf is a versatile and delicious side dish. It's the perfect complement to your family's favorite chicken, lamb, pork or fish recipes.

What You'll Need

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of margarine*

What You'll Do:

  • In a large skillet, combine rice-pasta mix and margarine or butter. Sauté over medium heat until pasta is golden brown, stirring frequently.
  • Slowly stir in water and Special Seasonings; bring to a boil.
  • Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 17 to 22 minutes or until rice is tender.

High Altitude Directions:

No adjustments required

*butter, or spread with no trans fat may be substituted
